It can be daunting to raise the $500 minimum donation required to volunteer. We hope the following will help you get some ideas! More fundraising suggestions will be added throughout the year.

Donation Letter

The simplest way to raise money for your trip is simply to ask your friends and family using a donation letter. We have created a template for this letter on The Village Education Project’s letterhead. While you can send the letter out as it is written, we encourage you to personalize it as much as you’d like. 

To access the donor letter we have created for you, take the following steps:

1. Click the link here. 

2. You will be redirected to the Google Docs sign-in page. Sign in using the following:

3. You should be automatically directed to the donor letter. If you have trouble viewing the google document, please email us at volunteer@villageeducation.org, and we will send you a hard copy of the letter.
