We are excited that you would like to work with us! We always open to your suggestions on how you can help out. Specifically, we currently need support in the following areas:
Fundraising
Whether you are part of a school, business or church, or operating on your own, we would love for you to help us fundraise. All funds that we receive from donors goes directly to the children we serve, and all donations are tax-deductible. In the past, fundraising activities have included simple activities like writing letters to friends, families and co-workers and more elaborate plans like holding an auction, a bake sale, a party, or operating a booth at a community fair.

Recruit volunteers
If you are part of a college or university, you can help us recruit volunteers for our Summer Volunteer Program. 
Volunteer recruitment can be as simple as sending an email about us to a few student groups, deans and list-servs, or as involved as holding events about us on campus, or helping us create our brochures and information packets about the program.

Research for Us
We can always use help with research about how to better run our organization, how to find funding, or for information that will help us build our secondary school in rural Ecuador.
A few sample research topics that you could choose from include the following:
• Grant organizations that would fund building our school in Ecuador
• Lesson plans for seventh grade English, Math, Science and other subjects
• Grassroots fundraising ideas and techniques
• Ecuadorian governmental standards for secondary school curriculum
• Successful environmental education curricula and activities
If you would like to donate some of your time to doing research for us, please email us at joinus@villageeducation.org. We will respond with a choice of topics, and you can choose which you’d like to pursue, and when you’d like to complete them.
