Teaching Resources
When you arrive in Ecuador, you will receive teaching instruction from the program’s staff and will plan lessons with your fellow volunteers. However, we strongly recommend you prepare before you leave. The following links should be helpful tools, and we will be adding to this section as the summer approaches. Accepted volunteers will receive email notifications when there is an update. You may also wish to read last year’s curriculum, which will give you an idea of what we have taught in the past.
Read, Write, Think
This site includes information and advice about teaching language and literacy in English, but many of the lesson plans it suggests could be adapted for the Ecuadorian classroom.
